New to betting? Learn these basic terms so you feel more confident when playing at 12play15.
RTP (Return to Player)
A percentage that shows how much money is returned to players over the long term. A higher RTP means more is returned in theory, but it does not guarantee results in any single session.
Wagering Requirement
The number of times you need to wager the bonus amount before winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn. At 12play15, the bonus wagering requirement is 10x the bonus amount received.
Asian Handicap
An Asian-style sports betting system that eliminates the draw outcome by giving a goal advantage or disadvantage to each team. It makes betting more straightforward with only two possible outcomes.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet on the combined total score of both teams in a match. You choose whether the total number of goals will be over or under the set value.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage that the casino holds in every game. For example, European roulette has a lower house edge than American roulette because of the difference in the number of zeros.
Slot Volatility
A measure of how often and how much a slot pays out. High volatility means wins are less frequent but larger in value. Low volatility gives more frequent wins but in smaller amounts.
Live Dealer Casino
Casino games that use a real dealer broadcast live via video camera. Players can watch every dealer action in real time, giving an experience close to that of a physical casino.
Progressive Jackpot
A top prize that keeps growing each time a player places a bet. The jackpot is pooled across a network of games and can reach a very large amount before a player wins it.
Cashback
A partial return of your net losses over a given period. At 12play15, VIP members are eligible for weekly cashback based on their VIP tier — from Bronze to Platinum.
Odds Format
How odds are displayed: decimal format (1.85) is common in Malaysia and Europe, fractional format (17/20) is popular in the UK, while American format (+/- 115) is used mainly for American sports.
Mix Parlay
A type of sports bet where you combine several selections on one ticket. All selections must win for the bet to succeed, but the combined payout can be much higher than a single bet.
KYC (Know Your Customer)
An identity verification process carried out by the platform before processing a first-time withdrawal. It typically requires a copy of your MyKad and proof of payment method to verify your identity.
